Amino Freedom* Media Center Wins ‘Best Consumer Device’

LONDON, UK – 23 March 2010 - Amino Communications* is the winner of the 2010 IPTV World Series Award for ‘Best Consumer Device/CPE’ for the Amino Freedom* media center, powered by the Intel® Atom™ Processor CE4100.

The Amino Freedom is a hybrid/over the top (OTT) solution that enables consumers to experience TV from multiple sources, including broadcast, the Internet, social networking services and personal content, using a single device.

The Amino Freedom DVB-T hybrid media centre was recognized by the judges for “offering the most comprehensive, cost-efficient and user friendly solution to the challenge of delivering online content in a seamless, integrated and user-friendly manner to the consumer's living room.”

The media center provides access to multiple formats of Internet video and applications including social media in a unified graphical user interface with locally stored music, video and photos and DVR functions.
