The innovators at Intel are collaborating with industry leaders Google*, Sony* and Logitech to bring smart TV products to life. Today, at the Google I/O conference, the companies announced the development of the Google TV platform, which is powered by the Intel® Atom™ processor CE4100.

Smart TV helps consumers enjoy a virtually limitless array of Internet content, broadcast programming, personal media and a range of applications, all available on a single TV screen.

Intel’s system-on-a-chip (SoC), the CE4100, delivers the performance to drive advanced search capabilities and run personalized applications including games, with intuitive user interfaces and unique remote controls that let viewers interact with TV like never before.

In addition to leading performance and software compatibility of Intel® architecture, the Intel® Atom™ processor CE4100 supports world-class HD video and audio and advanced graphics required by new CE devices like companion boxes, Blu-ray* players and digital TVs, all in support of the smart TV experience.
